Early in the morning I went with Ross an
English architect working with Shelter to a series of Ganesha temples in a
compound. There were 5 different temples and devotees would move from one to
the other and chant and turn around in circles as priests rang bells. I sat on
the edge of the compound and drew the scene in my sketchbook with the tall elegant
palm trees filling the courtyards.
